CUSCO – CUSCO CONDOR VIEWPOINT
We leave the city of Cusco early in the morning in our mobility, taking the route Cusco – Limatambo for 3 hours,’For a route paved until the branch Uraca (Huayronca Bridge) and from this point access to 3,400 masl. On a road that takes us to the community of Chonta, and we will enjoy our delicious breakfast watching the snow of Salkantay, and after about an hour walking along a trail to the Viewpoint of the Condor which is located in the Apurimac River Valley.
And from this point we will have the opportunity to witness at their natural state, posing on rocks preparing for their day’s activity finally the majestic flight of the condor (Sacred Bird of the Incas) and there is also opportunity to see many birds such as eagles, hawks and hopefully the whitetail deer – Andean fox and viscachas.
After having witnessed at the return of Condor activity, we will return walking for an hour to reach the community of Chonta, where we will enjoy our delicious typical lunch, after the lunch we will return to the Imperial City of Cusco in our mobility.
